We’ve noticed that a domain has been purchased similar to our name but spelled a little differently and may be one of the scams going around, so below are a few things to consider when checking out an online company:

Spelling, be sure the spelling of the company is the same as advertised
Redirects: when you type in the company website address, are you actually going to that site or are you taken to a different site or company name.
Find out as much as you can about the company, do searches on it, see if there are any bad posts about it but keep in mind some people complain for small infractions as well or who have little knowledge of the product or company.
Call them, talk to them before purchasing, and get a feel for the person you are going to buy from.
Consider using a Credit Card or PayPal for your purchase if you can, many companies will accept both and are both safe and have ways to get your money back if you are not satisfied with your product.
Search the internet to find out more about the company or use a service like scaminformer.com to see if they have any scam reports.
